My hobby is …… making people smile.
I do this with witty quips, one liners and ‘playing on words’
I submit some of my own compositions to a Canadian Newspaper for their “Morning Smiles” segment, and to date, have had 109
of them published.
A few years ago, I composed a song….. “Some Shockin’ Good” which was recorded and recently I composed it’s sequel “Some Shockin’ Bad”.
Plans are in the pipeline to have a recording made of this too.
My most recent achievement was to produce a book of “smiles” for Seniors.
It is a collection of smiles…..some of my originals and some “oldies” I’ve collected over the years.
It is in large print (and spiral bound so that the pages lay flat).
“Happy as a Clam” is a Newfoundland saying and that is how I feel when I’m sharing the ‘smiles’
I named my clam “Happy” and he pops up on some of the pages.
The music and lyrics of “Some Shockin’ Good” are also in the book.
If you would like to know more about the book, or would like to hear the song, email me at
