May and September 2010
Mission Hills Winery is a great place in the Okanagan Valley to meet with Moonie and family.
We first met there in May of 2010, Moonie's daughter Vivian was there too.
.
Info on the Rose below: It's a tradition to plant a rose bush at the end of every row.
Second reason in places where varieties of grapes are planted that are susceptible to diseases roses can often serve as early warning.
Grapes and roses grow exactly the same way and are affected by the same diseases and problems.
The rose is more delicate and often times will get the disease first.
10 Sept 2010 ~ A time to Celebrate Moonie's 'Milestone' Birthday
Once again meeting at Mission Hills Winery. Moonie's wife Irene,
daughter Vivian & I helped Moonie Celebrate.
Tid bit of info learned on chat, Moonie likes jelly beans but NOT black ones. In Moonie's gift box of course were two boxes of jelly beans and NO black ones.
